You've already named some of my top heroines - Eve Dallas, Jessica Trent, Blair Mallory, Haven Travis - they are all on my all time favourite heroine list too. There's a couple more I would add:
Jesmond Corbett from Candice Proctor's Whispers of Heaven. She's an incredible heroine who is willing to stand against everything she was raised to believe and brave to the nth degree when she makes a life changing choice

Miranda Hayes from Rosanne Bittner's Outlaw Hearts. I can't read or think of this book and Miranda without thinking of the song, I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders. It's a beautiful story of a woman who will stand by the man she loves despite everything fate throws in their way. I'm just aching for more readers to give this book a read.

Jessica (LoS) and Chas (JOotG) would be on my list, too.

Liberty (Sugar Daddy) would be at the top of my list. Mercy Thompson.

Blue Bailey from SEP's Natural Born Charmer
Elena from Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series.
Stephanie Plum (Though Evanovich's series needs SOMETHING to revitalize it.)

KB - I knew I loved Kingdom of Dreams, but I didn't realize how much until I realized that almost every one of these categories will have someone from that book in it.

LA - You know, it's funny I almost put Alyssa on my list. But the truth is, I don't read that series anymore and I gave all the books away. Which makes me think that it can't really be a favorite. You know?

JK. What a fun post. These are fabulous heroines, esp. Jessica Trent, and PAYTON! OMG, I loved that scene, too. And the hero's mortified but spellbound reaction. Snap!

I agree with LeeAnn on the Liberty Jones issue, too. That heroine really did burn into my mind. In a good. way.

Oh what a great list! I would have a hard time coming up with such a list. The only names that really come to mind to add are:

Liberty Jones from Lisa Kleypas's Sugar Daddy. I think that Sugar Daddy will always be my favorite LK book. And I was able to connect with Liberty. She left me in aww with her strength.

And speaking of strength I would also add:

Alyssa Locke from Suzanne Brockmann's Gone Too Far. She has such strength but she also has the ability to be forgiving and fiercely loyal. Alyssa is my favorite SB heroine.

I think you and I are heroine loving soul mates! What a great list! I am a big fan of Lisa Kleypas's heroines. There are just too many to list.

Ah Jenny from Kingdom of Dreams has a very special place in my heart, all based on her speech about her kingdom of dreams.

And you know how much I adore Jess. That bloodthirsty gun shoot woman!
