Are Harlequin and Harlequin Presents the same thing? You know - that guy David that I dated for waayyy too long - his mom is a Harlequin author. Wasn't sure if they're all the same thing.
Harlequin has a huge number of lines. Presents is the one with the super cheesy titles (witness: Hired: The Sheikh's Secretary Mistress). They are full of ridiculously dominant men, who need a swift smack in the head and virginal naive heroines.
Ok - so if you ever come across the author Cathy Gillen Thacker - just know I dated her son (for way too long)....bleh. Kinda freaky when your boyfriend's mom is a romance writer.
