Amy Loves Cha-Chi

OK, so, Amy is totally trying to work today, but thus far I've called her three times. The first to check in (mainly because Ame and I don't go more than about 24 hours without talking), the second, I called her to tell her that Jane Fonda TOTALLY said "c*nt" on the Today show this morning, which frankly, I think is awesome...and hilarious. And the last time, to tell her that the PopWatch on EW.com (which I'm a total slave to) has a blog up about The TV Character You'd Date in Real Life.

So, I call Ame, and tell her about the blog and ask her who her choice would be. Seriously, without skipping a beat, she blurts out "Cha-Chi."

I'll give you a moment to absorb that.

No, I can't explain it either.

Anyway, I left her pondering who she'd REALLY date.

My answer? Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights. Reasons?

He's a football player.
He's hot.
And what makes him the most likely to date me? He's more likely than not a Republican. (I'm a Republican magnet even though I come from an extremely liberal family and am liberal myself).

But, back to Amy, I'm giving her a moment to collect herself and call me back with a "real" answer. Sadly, it might still be Cha-Chi.

I love ya, Ame!

Now it's your turn. Who is the TV Character that You'd Date in Real Life?

*Also, I highly recommend that you don't google "Cha-Chi" at work and then click images. Apparently that word is also a euphamism for something else. EEEEwwwww!

No question - Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars. Ask Amy about my obsession as I can't think of another topic we've talked about more than him.

Rach- I have season 1 of Veronica Mars and am hesitant to start watching it because I'm afraid of getting totally sucked in and then not being able to watch other stuff. I'll have to get around to it sooner or later. I promised Trip I'd watch it.

I would love to date Gil Grissom from CSI Las Vegas. I have this thing for older men now and his intellect is such a turn on.
I so wanted to be Sara because she got to be his hush hush girlfriend on the show. :)

And if I wanted to get down and dirty- Dr. Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck. Very dirty.

How could loving a man with a red bandana around his leg and who worshipped the "Fonz" be so wrong?

And all of us must admit that we cried at Joanie and Chachi's wedding (i.e. Friends reference from the pilot).

I'll keep thinking of others. Rachel - I can't believe I forgot Logan.

Oh what’s his name the guy who played the vet on Grey’s Anatomy. He was cute, sweet, and smart. Meredith was so dumb for passing him up but I can understand ;o)

LA - My roomie came up with Denny Duquette from Grey's. I'm deeply ashamed to say that I totally forgot about Denny. And there's a picture of him on my website for God's sake. But, well, the glory of Tim Riggins overtook me.

LOL MK. That’s ok Denny was sick and died. Yes he’s cute but who wants that in a date? :o)

FYI - Trip says for him - Kelly from Saved by the Bell. No surprise there.

And I have to add one more - Doug Ross from ER (not early Doug - late Doug).

I love how Amy is trying to back away from Cha-Chi!
I'll report Scott's, too - whoever Angie Harmon played on Law and Order (he doesn't feel the same now that she's on "Women's Murder Club" btw).
And K, yes, prepare to watch all 3 seasons of VM in a marathon b/c it's that addictive.

Current Day? ~ Would have to be McDreamy. He deserves better than Meredith.

Yesteryear? ~ More than likely Joe Hardy. I had a big thing for Shaun Cassidy. And also Tommy from Alice. And Peter Brady.
